BRIEF SYNOPSIS

After retiring from the Perris Elementary School District in California as the Director of Special Education and Student Services in June 2003, I started attending the local junior college, taking courses in Computer Science and more specifically website design. My interest was hooked and I eventually completed their Web Master's Certificate program; that same year, I slowly began doing private work.

I consider myself a "journeyman" level designer or 'entry level designer' when I compare myself to what the top designers in the field are currently doing. I have designed php database applications to work with websites; I have used a little jquery with javascript to achieve some presentational effects though that is the extent of my js library experience. I do use Flash with my designs as well.

It is my hope that, at present, I represent the happy medium for potential clients; I am not as expensive as some web design business you might find in the 'yellow pages' and I would hope I'm better than that kid next door who says he/she can do your website 'cause they've had a class in high school'.
